Everything You Need to Know Before Your Dog’s Stay
Clear answers to help you prepare, plan, and feel confident about your dog’s care at Pierson Creek Kennels
When can I pick up or drop off my dog?
We welcome our customers to drop off or pick up their dogs any time during our hours of operation. Note that our checkout time is 10 AM. Pick up after 10 AM, does incur another day's charge. There are no arrivals or departures before or after hours.
Can I provide food and treats from home?
We prefer your dog to remain on food from home. All food and treats must be in original packaging or provided in a sealed container or bag. We will be happy to follow your pets' feeding schedule. We do have a full kitchen on site, so refrigerating items is no problem.
What if my dog has medication?
All prescription medications must be provided in the original prescription bottle, as per Board of Health guidelines. Non-prescription medication may be provided in a sealed bag or container, clearly labeled with directions for administering. Some medications will incur an additional fee.
What should I bring for my dog?
Customers are welcome to provide their dog a bed or crate from home. Toys are also welcome. You do not have to provide food and water bowls from home. If your dog requires a slow feeder or raised feeder, medically, then please provide.
What vaccines does my dog need?
All dogs must have current vaccines. We require Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. The Bordetella vaccine, also known as the kennel cough vaccine, must be given two to three weeks prior to boarding. There will be no exceptions to this policy.
