Our History

Many years ago, Kyle's grandfather raised and trained beagles. Out of love and patience, he raised many amazing dogs, while establishing championship bloodlines. One of those beloved bloodlines, Pierson Creek, is the namesake of the kennel today. Following in his grandfather's footsteps, Kyle puts his heart into caring for his boarders at Pierson Creek.

Kyle updated his grandfather's kennel and opened in 1995. The business grew quickly, as did the need for more space. In 2002 the second facility was opened. Today Pierson Creek consists of two buildings, offering a total of 35 runs with unbelievable views of Hunterdon County's countryside.

Kyle’s family continues the tradition of caring for dogs, with a single-minded focus on providing the highest quality care and companionship for your family’s treasured best friend. It has and continues to be a rich and rewarding part of their family. Today, Kyle and his wife Sharon take great pride and enjoyment watching their children show their considerable affection for the many dogs that share their home.

“I have used Pierson Creek Kennels for many years. I have lived in New Hope for over 30 years. Suffice it to say that several of my four legged family members have spent quality vacation time at Pierson Creek Kennels while I too enjoyed a worry free vacation. My little Sniffles pup needed multiple meds throughout the day and was so loved by the staff. Anything your pup could need is provided by Kyle and his staff. Lucy wakes up to soft music and takes 4 walks a day, then there is play time and snack time too! No wonder she didn’t want to get in MY car. If you are looking for a kennel that provides the quality care that you would to your own beloved pet, then Pierson’s is the only place to go. Its more than affordable, situated in a beautiful country setting with skilled caring professionals.”
